Briony Saunders
Founder & Chief Product Officer
Built the first version out of frustration. Still obsessed with making complex things simple. Former consultant who learned finance the hard way.
We started quarovintel in 2019 because we kept seeing the same thing. Business owners struggling with cash flow—not because they weren't making money, but because tracking it felt impossible.
Most tools are built for accountants, not operators. And honestly? That's backwards. You shouldn't need a finance degree just to know if you can afford new equipment or pay yourself this month.
Financial software shouldn't require a manual. We build things you can actually understand on day one.
Waiting weeks for reports is outdated. Know where you stand right now, not last quarter.
Made by people who've run businesses, not just studied them. We know what actually matters day-to-day.
EBITDA, COGS, working capital—we translate finance speak into plain language that helps you decide.
Built for GST, superfunds, and the quirks of doing business here. Not adapted from overseas systems.
We show you the full picture, even when it's uncomfortable. Sugar-coating helps nobody.
Back in 2018, our founder Briony was running a small consultancy. Good revenue, solid clients—but constantly stressed about whether she could make payroll. The accounting software showed profit. Her bank account told a different story.
After one too many panicked Friday afternoons, she built a simple spreadsheet. Just tracked actual money in and out. It worked better than the expensive software.
Friends started asking for copies. Then their friends. By mid-2019, that spreadsheet had become quarovintel—a proper platform designed around cash flow first, accounting second.
We're not trying to replace your accountant. We're just making sure you don't need to call them every time you want to know if you can afford something. Most decisions happen between tax filings, and that's where we help.
Today, we work with businesses across Australia—from solo contractors to teams of fifty. Different sizes, same problem: they need to see their cash position clearly without becoming finance experts.
Small team, big on making finance less painful. We've all been on the other side—trying to run businesses while drowning in spreadsheets.
